Gyokeres has been in prolific goalscoring form this season for club and country and took his tally to 32 in 24 games after scoring four times in a 6-0 win against Azerbaijan on Tuesday. The 26-year-old's goalscoring exploits have already led to speculation he could leave Sporting, with a host of clubs including Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Arsenal already linked with the Swedish hotshot.

Football fan @PauloP060802 made a huge claim about the Swede in a post on X: "Gyokeres is better than Haaland and I’ll stand with that forever."
And another comparison was made by @MrUnited25 who wrote: "Viktor Gyokeres already surpassed Zlatan Ibrahimovich career for Sweden."
Manchester United fan @Chima_SZN was also getting excited, posting: "Wait, Gyokeres has 30 goals already this season? I’m not even sure my entire club has 30 goals in all comps this season."

Gyokeres has said he wants to finish the season with Sporting but will surely not lack for offers at the end of the campaign if he continues his current form. The arrival of former Sporting boss Ruben Amorim at United had led to suggestions the Red Devils could indeed come calling in the summer, with the Portuguese coach already admitting Gyokeres could be on the move at the end of the season.
