The Cityzens came from behind to hold a 10-men Gunners to an exciting 2-2 draw. After John Stones netted the last-gasp equaliser, Haaland was seen picking up the ball from inside the goal and then throwing it against Gabriel's head before running away.

After the ill-tempered encounter at Etihad Stadium, the Brazilian defender had addressed the incident as he downplayed it by claiming he did not remember anything. Now Haaland has opened up about his clash with the Gunners star.

Speaking at a press conference while being on international duty with Norway, the City forward said, "In the heat of the moment things happened in that game. What happens on the pitch, stays on the pitch. That’s how it is."
